The Tulsa Police Mapping applications allow the user to display selected crime(s), meth labs, traffic collisions or registered sex offenders interactively on a map. Unlike most mapping applications in use on the internet, the Tulsa Police system allows the user to display details of individual crime, collision or other data at the neighborhood level. The sex offender map allows the user to display a window of individual offenders.
Each map site has a help icon in the left toolbar to explain how to use that particular site and some of the sites have a movie icon that shows exactly how to use the site. Make sure you zoom in to an area to view the crime layers.
The Tulsa Police Department Crime Analysis, Planning, Evaluation, and Research Unit develops and maintains the mapping sites.
