With the end of school nearing and hundreds of children preparing for the summer months, the Tulsa Police Department is partnering with the Trauma One Center at OU Medical, Kohl's Department Stores and SAFE KIDS - Tulsa to help promote a safe way of traveling to and from any destination while riding on a bicycle, skateboard or any mode of transportation that a child would need a helmet.

Tulsa Police Officer Wins Oklahoma Women Officer of the Year

Oklahoma Women in Law Enforcement has announced the selection of Officer Jaime Kirby for their Outstanding Commissioned Women Officer of the year for 2012. Officer Kirby will be presented the award at a luncheon on Thursday, May 3, 2012, at 1:00 p.m., at the Sky Lounge in the Hardrock Casino, located at 777 W. Cherokee Street, Catoosa, Oklahoma.
